Artist Statement

My work explores the alchemy of what happens when old meets new. Whether upcycling vintage postcards, painting acrylic landscapes, or capturing photographs in nature, I’m heavily inspired by places and the stories behind them. Often wistful and whimsical in style, I’m drawn to bold colors, textures, and imagery that creates a feeling of nostalgia shown through a contemporary lens. However, my work is not an invitation to ignore the problems of the past, but rather a reminder to reconnect with our own humanity in a rapidly changing and technological world. To embrace slowing down, to enjoy the beauty of nature, and to cherish the moments that shape us.
