Kelly Murray is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller whose diverse portfolio of work includes contributions in art, film, and creative writing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in English Literature and History from the University of Delaware. Her love of history, travel, and literature is prevalent in her work. Kelly is currently a resident artist at Aston Mills Arts in Aston, PA where she focuses on painting and photography.

Her current project, The Art of Correspondence, is a mixed-media series that repurposes vintage postcards into acrylic landscape paintings. When she’s not painting, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors and bringing her camera along on her adventures. Her photography is heavily influenced by place, and her portfolio comprises of landscapes captured in nature, at home, or on her travels. Her latest photography project The Brandywine Collection highlights images taken during her time living in the historic Brandywine Valley of Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Kelly is also an active member of the Philadelphia independent film community where she focuses on writing/directing narrative films, with a special interest in historical period dramas. She is currently the Vice President of Philadelphia Women in Film & Television (PWIFT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the professional development of women in film, TV, and media.
